### Introduction

This monthly update document covers all the new features and updates released for the Sanas SDK. Check out the What’s new section for updates on the desktop app platform.

This release introduces an On-Demand Model Update functionality to the Sanas SDK.

### On-Demand Model Updates

**Supported platform**: Windows SDK  
**SDK Version**: `4.4.23`

On-Demand Model Updates eliminate the need to redeploy the SDK for AI model changes. Configure accents in the Portal or override default AI models to update models automatically across your user base—no downtime, no maintenance overhead.

#### What's New

Model updates are now decoupled from app updates:

- **Model Updates**: AI models download and deploy automatically based on your Portal configuration
- **SDK Updates**: New features and fixes deploy independently when needed.

**Bottom line**: Update your accent translation and noise cancellation models without touching your app.

#### Why This Matters

| **Zero Downtime** | Models download in the background; users stay productive with Noise Cancellation or the existing Accent Translation model, based on implementation. |

#### How It Works

1. **Admin configures accents** in Portal (source/target) or overrides the default AI models. See [configure accents](https://help.sanas.ai/docs/configure-accents-for-a-workspace#configure-accents) or [override AI models](https://help.sanas.ai/docs/override-default-ai-models) for more.
2. **SDK auto-detects** when a model update is needed
3. **Background download** occurs transparently
4. **Automatic deployment** when ready (no call interruption)
