# New Model: AT 4.6.0

### Introduction

We are pleased to announce the beta release of AT 4.6.0, our latest Accent Translation AI model, featuring substantial performance improvements across all supported source accents (i.e., India, the Philippines, Africa, and the Middle East).

### **Performance Improvements**

Internal benchmarking demonstrates significant improvements in intelligibility, naturalness, and Word Error Rate (WER):

- **Overall WER improved**: 16.6%

- Leading by improvements in specific source accents **:**
  - **Middle East (ME):** 29.4% WER improvement
  - **African (AFR):** 23.3% WER improvement.

### **Technical Enhancements**

AT 4.6.0 delivers the following capabilities while maintaining a lightweight architecture:

- **8kHz sampling rate support** — optimized for low-bandwidth telephony and contact center environments
- **Enhanced audio quality** — improved naturalness and expressiveness
- **Optimized Voice Activity Detection (VAD)** — enhanced voice isolation (background voice cancellation) with overall reduction in observed hallucinations and voice breaks.

### **Getting Started**

**Prerequisites:** Requires **Sanas app version 4.4.23 or above**.

> On-demand model update  
> Use the [on-demand model updates](https://help.sanas.ai/docs/november-2025#1-ondemand-model-updates-update-ai-models-without-downtime) feature to access and deploy the AT 4.6.0. Currently available only on the _Windows_ platform.

1. Log in to the [**Sanas Portal**](https://portal2.sanas.ai/) with admin credentials.
2. Select your workspace using the switcher in the top-left corner.
3. Navigate to **Settings** > [**Experimental Features**](https://portal2.sanas.ai/settings#experimental-settings) and enable the option.

4. Access AT 4.6.0 from the Outgoing Accent Translation Model Version dropdown on the Download App page.
