### Before you begin

- Ensure you have the necessary permissions and credentials to update the audio configuration on Genesys.

- Launch the Sanas app. Connect your headset and select the headset's microphone under the Audio input menu on the Sanas app.

### Configure Genesys

1. Launch the Genesys app on your computer, and log in with your credentials if required.

2. Click on your profile icon from the left-side navigation bar.

3. Click **Preferences**.

4. Select **Audio/Sounds** from the left-side menu pane under the **Preferences**.

5. Scroll to the **Advanced Mic Settings** section and disable the following audio settings.

- **Automatic Mic Gain Off**

   - **Echo Cancellation Off**

   - **Noise Suppression Off**

6. These are Genesys's built-in audio enhancement configurations; leaving them enabled interferes with the audio stream passing through Sanas.

7. Additionally, verify that **Sanas Microphone** or **Sanas Virtual Audio** is selected under the Audio input settings on Genesys.
