Introduction

This guide provides instructions for configuring audio settings on Genesys Activities to ensure uninterrupted usage of Sanas services.

Before you begin

• Ensure you have the necessary permissions and credentials to update the audio configuration on Genesys.

• Launch the Sanas app. Connect your headset and select the headset's microphone under the Audio input menu on the Sanas app.

Configure Genesys

1. Launch the Genesys app on your computer, and log in with your credentials if required.

2. Click on your profile icon from the left-side navigation bar.

3. Click Preferences.

4. Select Audio/Sounds from the left-side menu pane under the Preferences.

5. Scroll to the Advanced Mic Settings section and disable the following audio settings.

• Automatic Mic Gain Off

  • Echo Cancellation Off

  • Noise Suppression Off

6. These are Genesys's built-in audio enhancement configurations; leaving them enabled interferes with the audio stream passing through Sanas.

7. Additionally, verify that Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio is selected under the Audio input settings on Genesys.
