# macOS: Install Sanas app (Noise Cancellation)

## Introduction

This guide provides instructions to download and install the Sanas app on macOS. Learn more about our key features to utilize Sanas per your business needs.

> Only Apple Silicon processors are supported  
> The Sanas app is currently supported only on Apple computers with Apple Silicon processors (M1, M2, etc.).

**Installation methods**

You can install the Sanas app in the following ways:

- **When installing on an Individual computer**
  - [**Package installer**](https://help.sanas.ai/v1/docs/macos-install-sanas-app-accent-translation#via-the-package-installer): By running the app package installer
  - [**Terminal**](https://help.sanas.ai/v1/docs/macos-install-sanas-app-accent-translation#via-terminal-command): By executing the installation command through the Terminal window
- **When installing on multiple connected computers**
  - **MDM**: Use the popular MDM tools like Microsoft Intune to deploy the Sanas app on multiple connected computers.

## Before you begin:

- Sanas app is supported on macOS Ventura and above (macOS 13 and above). Ensure you are on a compatible OS version before proceeding further.
- You’ll need the Sanas Portal access to download the Sanas app.
- Ensure you have the system admin password if installing via the terminal method.

## **Installation procedures**

### **via the package installer**

1. Contact our [Support Team](mailto:support@sanas.ai) to get your Sanas app installer for macOS.
2. Save the installer copy on your computer, and navigate to that folder.
3. Double-click on the app package to launch the installer.
4. Complete the installation steps to finish the installation. The Sanas app automatically launches upon installation.
5. Start using it by activating the Sanas app using your credentials. Refer to [using Sanas](https://help.sanas.ai/docs/using-sanas-noise-cancellation) to learn more about the app activation and initial setup.

### **via terminal command**

> 📔 **Note**: Make sure you have the administrator credentials to run the installation.

1. Contact our [Support Team](mailto:support@sanas.ai) to get your Sanas app installer for macOS.
2. Save the installer copy on your computer, and navigate to that folder.
3. Press and hold the `option` key from your keyboard and right click on the Sanas app package, then click “ **_copy <file name> as a pathname_** _”.
4. Launch the terminal window on your computer and enter the following command:
   
   `sudo installer -pkg <direcotry path> -target /`.  Replace the `<directory path>` With the path copied in the previous step. **Example**: _sudo installer -pkg /Users/ronak.giri/Downloads/Sanas-4.1.10-arm64.pkg -target /_
5. When prompted, enter your admin credentials to proceed with the installation. The app auto-launches upon installation.
6. Start using it by activating the Sanas app using your credentials. Refer to [using Sanas](https://help.sanas.ai/docs/using-sanas-noise-cancellation) to learn more about the app activation and initial setup.
