### For Admin: Enable the Widget for a group

1. Sign in to the [Portal (opens in new tab)](https://portal.sanas.ai/) and select the intended group from the Group Tree, or select the account for organization-wide configuration.
2. Navigate to **Settings** > **Configuration**.
3. Under **Desktop Application**, locate **Application Settings**.
4. Enable the **Sanas Widget** toggle.

5. (Optional) Enable **Lock Configuration** to prevent subgroup admins from overriding this setting.

The Widget becomes available to users on their next app sync with the Portal.

#### Access the Widget

Minimize the Sanas App. The Widget appears as a small overlay on your screen. You can drag it to any position that doesn't interfere with your softphone or other running applications.

#### Sanas Widget toggle

The Sanas Widget toggle helps you take the following quick actions based on the Sanas product you're currently using:

- **Accent Translation** — Enable/Disable Accent Translation. Noise Cancellation (outbound and inbound) continues running until disabled separately from the Sanas full app.
- **Speech Enhancement** — Enable/Disable outbound Speech Enhancement. Inbound Speech Enhancement continues running until disabled separately from the Sanas full app.
- **Noise Cancellation** — Enable/Disable outbound Noise Cancellation. Inbound Noise Cancellation continues running until disabled separately from the Sanas full app.
- **Language Translation** — Enable/Disable Language Translation.

#### Visual feedback

The Widget provides two types of real-time status indicators:

**Audio waveform animation**

When the Widget is visible, and Accent Translation is enabled, an audio waveform animation indicates that Sanas is actively processing your audio.

**Taskbar color indicators**

The Sanas icon in your taskbar reflects the current status:

| _Red_ | Sanas is disabled.                           |
| _Amber_ | Sanas is enabled, but audio is not synthesizing. The reason could be a misconfigured audio source in the softphone. |

> _Tip: If you see a red indicator during a call, check that your softphone's input and output devices are set to the Sanas audio devices and Sanas is enabled from the app._

Yes. The Widget overlays on both local and virtual desktop environments.

#### Can I reposition the Widget on my screen?

Yes. Drag the Widget to any location on your screen.

#### Do I need the Widget to use Sanas?

No. The Widget is a convenience feature. You can always use the full Sanas App to control Accent Translation.

#### The Widget isn't appearing when I minimize the app. What should I do?

Confirm that your admin has enabled the Widget for your group, and that you're running Sanas App V5.2.x or higher. If both are correct, re-initiate your Sanas app session for instant syncing.
