# Generic configuration for Softphone applications

## Introduction

This guide provides generic instructions for configuring the audio settings on any softphone application to work with Sanas applications.

## Before you begin

- **Verify application**: Verify that the Sanas and the softphone application you want to configure are installed on your computer.
- **Privileges**: Your organization may control your softphone application’s audio settings. Ensure you have the required privileges to modify these settings.

## Integration Steps

1. Launch the softphone application on your computer. If required, log in using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the application’s **Settings** menu, and look for " **Audio Settings**," " **Sound Settings,**" or similar options.
3. Navigate to Microphone, Input device, and select **Sanas Microphone (Virtual)** as the audio source.
4. Click **Save**/ **Ok** to apply the changes.
